Pause a registration

In the course of a program, registrations status may change. You can decide to end or pause the assistance to a registration at any point during the program. They will stop receiving cash aid through this program.

Who can perform actions in this page?

CVA Manager and CVA Officer roles can perform actions in the Registration page. Finance users should consult the CVA Manager or CVA Officer users assigned to this program. Learn more about Roles & Permissions

Search for a registration

These statuses cannot be changed to Paused

You cannot change Completed, Declined and Validated status into Paused status.

In the Registration page:

  • Go to the table view
  • Click on the filter logo in the column Name and search for the registration's name, or search with #reg. number

Click on the to add the registration in the selection,

  • Click on Pause status on the top of the table,
  • In the Pause registration(s) pop-up window, enter a reason and click Pause registration. Optionally, send a message to the registration. Approve Pause Status
  • The status has been changed to Paused Pause Status
  • From Paused status, the registration will no longer receive cash aid.

You can also change the status by right-clicking the registration in the table and clicking Pause DropDownListStatus

Registrations in a payment that is waiting for approval

If a registration you pause is in a payment that is waiting for approval, the portal warns you before you confirm: Pausing a registration that’s included in a payment will result in a failed transfer. If you include them in the future, you’ll be able to retry the failed payment.

Undo the action and revert the status

The Paused status can be applied temporarily. You can restore a registration's status to multiple statuses: Included, Validated and Declined. Only a CVA Manager can include a registration again. It is not possible to restore the Paused status to New status.
